01
Who is responsible for processing your data
The party responsible for processing the data collected on this website is Dr. André Linhares - Linhares Plástica (CRM-PR 31.110 / RQE-PR 29.720), with practices in Toledo and Palotina, Paraná, Brazil. This policy describes, in plain terms, how contact data is handled.
02
Data that may be collected
When you contact us through the site's channels (WhatsApp or the contact form), data voluntarily provided by the patient may be collected: name, WhatsApp number, city, type of appointment, procedure of interest, best time to be contacted, and a free-text message. No data is collected automatically through the form without the data subject filling it in.
03
Purpose and legal basis
The information provided is used exclusively to return contact, clarify initial questions and organise the scheduling of the consultation. The legal basis is legitimate interest and the data subject's own initiative in reaching out. We do not sell data, run automated marketing, engage in advertising profiling, or share data commercially.
04
We do not collect sensitive medical data through the form
The website form must not be used to send sensitive medical information (exams, medical history, clinical photos, diagnoses, medications in use). This kind of information is handled with protection during the medical consultation. If such information is sent spontaneously, it will be treated confidentially and the patient will be directed to the appropriate care channels.
06
Storage and retention
Messages received through WhatsApp remain in the app's history according to the settings of the user and the device. Messages originating from this website's form are sent via WhatsApp and are not stored in a database owned by the site. Contact data may be kept for as long as necessary to provide the requested service and to comply with legal obligations applicable to the doctor-patient relationship.
08
Data subject rights under the LGPD
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Lei 13.709/2018, known as the LGPD, Brazil's equivalent to the GDPR), data subjects have the right to confirm whether processing exists, to access, correct, anonymise, block, or delete unnecessary data, or to request portability, subject to applicable legal obligations. Requests related to the LGPD can be made through the official channels listed on the contact page, which is the designated channel for exercising these rights.
09
Information security
We adopt reasonable measures to preserve the confidentiality of the information provided. Even so, no digital communication channel is completely free of risk. We recommend not sending sensitive data through unofficial channels.
10
Educational notice
The information on this website is educational and institutional in nature and does not replace a medical consultation. Every surgical decision must be made after an in-person evaluation and individualised medical assessment.
11
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, to legislation, or to our care practices. The version in force is the one published on this page.
